A really good boat buying experience.
I’ve just completed the purchase of a Hunter 29.5, the broker was Darren Marriott at Specialty Yachts on Granville Island. As I live on Vancouver Island, and at the time of purchase was also travelling a lot, many things had to be arranged by phone and email.
Despite these difficulties Darren handled everything for me as needed, arranging the hull and mechanical inspections to fit with my availability. Sea trial was a good introduction to the boat systems, no doubt that Darren knows Hunters.
I also used Darren’s services to complete all the paperwork (conveyancing, lien search, licensing documentation etc.) which I consider was well worthwhile. Overall I felt that I received good courteous professional service, and have no hesitation in recommending Darren to anyone looking to buy a boat.
