“After about eight years of very comfortable cruising in our Hunter 340, we decided it was time to assess our wants and needs for the next decade of sailing here on these beautiful west coast waters. We were quite familiar with the Hunter 38, having casually inspected it during visits to several boat shows over a period of a few years.
Several other manufacturers models and sizes were considered, however the H38 was the benchmark to which others were compared.
When a lightly used, well-equipped and professionally maintained H38 became available through Specialty Yachts, it didn’t take long to negotiate a deal for the sale of the 340 and purchase of the H38.
We were pleased with the transparent, professional approach by the Specialty team members, who responded positively to each inquiry and made the entire process enjoyable.
From our home port at Schooner Cove on Vancouver Island, we will continue to explore Desolation Sound, the Broughtons and points north and the Gulf and San Juan Islands and points south, in the comfort of our Hunter 38….hopefully with grandkids along as novice crew members.
